Probably the same reason I want to scream every time one of my friends announces her engagement. You'd be a lot happier for them if they'd had a reason to be happy for you first. They've got something you want that you don't have and you don't know if you'll ever get it and you have no control over whether you do or not ... And counting your blessings never helps, because you always come up one blessing short of what you'd like. Hang in there. (I found you through Savannah's blog, by the way)
